Real Estate and the Ipad.. Will it help you?

The countdown is on. The Ipad arrived here in Australia this Friday May 28th and Australian Real Estate Agents have a great opportunity to get a leap on their competitors by embracing all that the new technology offers.

I think it was the PRD Group in Australia that published some research about 7 years ago which found that  a real estate agent who turned up at a listing presentation with a laptop computer under their arm was a 29% stronger chance of winning the listing above other agents purely by the inference to the seller that they embraced technology. Now, it was questionable whether the laptop actually had a screen or a hard drive and whether the agent could actually turn it on.. 

Times have changed and the agent of today needs to be in touch with the latest technology (in my humble view)

Enter Ipad for Real Estate Agents. This new product provides a great opportunity for an agent to genuinely become totally mobile and become a real estate road warrior. 

I just read a great article from Joel Burslem on 1000Watt Consulting where Joel has tipped what he considers are the Top 10 Ipad Apps that a Real Estate Agent needs to have loaded to their Ipad. I've included a link to the article here
